To support this journey, we are seeking an experienced PMO / Senior Project Manager who will play a critical role in driving strategic projects, supporting factory expansion initiatives and helping build world-class manufacturing capabilities.

About the Role
As PMO / Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading some of the company’s most important strategic and operational initiatives.
You will work closely with executive leadership, engineering, manufacturing, R&D, supply chain, customers and international partners to ensure successful project execution across multiple functions and geographies.
A key part of the role will be supporting manufacturing expansion and industrialisation activities, including factory establishment, production ramp-up and operational readiness.
We are looking for someone who has firsthand experience participating in factory build-ups and understands the challenges associated with scaling production from pilot stage to high-volume manufacturing.
The position involves frequent international travel, particularly to China, including extended stays when required.
Key Responsibilities
PMO & Project Leadership
Establish and develop project management structures, governance models and reporting frameworks.
Lead strategic projects from concept through execution and implementation.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to quality expectations.
Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
Create transparency and alignment across functions and business units.
Support executive management with project prioritisation and resource planning.
Manufacturing Expansion & Industrialisation
Support factory establishment, expansion and scale-up initiatives.
Coordinate manufacturing readiness and operational launch activities.
Participate in facility planning, equipment implementation and production ramp-up.
Support the transition from pilot production to industrial-scale manufacturing.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
Ensure alignment between manufacturing strategy and business objectives.
International Coordination
Collaborate closely with teams, suppliers and partners across Europe and China.
Coordinate activities involving manufacturing, engineering, operations and commercial functions.
Manage stakeholder communication across multiple cultures and business environments.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and strategic partners.

Qualifications & Experience
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Business Administration or a related field.
Several years of experience in project management, program management or PMO leadership.
Proven track record of leading large-scale industrial, operational or manufacturing projects.
Experience participating in factory build-ups from planning and commissioning through production ramp-up.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, industrialisation and production processes.
Experience leading cross-functional and international project teams.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Highly Meritorious
Experience from semiconductor, electronics, advanced materials, battery, automotive or other deep-tech industries.
Experience from manufacturing scale-ups and rapid-growth environments.
Experience supporting international factory expansion projects.
Knowledge of automation, process engineering and advanced manufacturing technologies.
PMP, Prince2 or equivalent project management certification.
Mandarin Chinese language skills.
Swedish language skills.
