Process Engineer – Quality Control
Build the quality backbone of next-gen materials for AI and electronics. Join Smart High Tech as a Process Engineer – Quality Control and scale world-class manufacturing with real impact.
Join us in building the future of high-performance materials
At Smart High Tech, we are solving one of the most critical challenges in modern electronics: thermal management.
As AI, data centres, and advanced electronics scale exponentially, heat becomes a limiting factor for performance, energy efficiency, and reliability. Our graphene-based materials are designed to overcome this.
We are now entering a decisive phase — transitioning from R&D to industrial-scale production and global commercialisation.
To support this journey, we are strengthening our Quality Support function with a Process Engineer – Quality Control who can take ownership of process stability, capability, and quality performance across our production.
Your mission
You will play a critical role in building robust, scalable, and data-driven manufacturing processes.
This is not a maintenance role — it is a build-and-scale role, where your work directly impacts:
Product performance
Customer qualification
Production ramp-up
Long-term industrial success
What you will do
Develop and optimise quality procedures, standards, and control methods
Drive implementation and ownership of SPC (Statistical Process Control) in production
Perform and improve process capability (Cp/Cpk) across key processes
Support APQP & PPAP activities for new product introduction
Lead and contribute to PFMEA and Control Plan development
Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, and scrap reduction initiatives
Collaborate closely with Production, R&D, and international teams (Sweden & China)
Support SOP readiness and ensure stable process performance at scale
Act as a key player in continuous improvement and industrialisation efforts
Who you are
You combine engineering depth with execution capability.
Degree in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
3–5 years’ experience in process or quality engineering
Experience from materials manufacturing, electronics, or similar industries is highly valued
Strong knowledge of:
ISO 9001 / QMS
SPC, FMEA, MSA
Process capability (Cp/Cpk)
Hands-on, analytical, and structured — you solve problems, not just report them
Comfortable working in a fast-changing, high-growth environment
Experience working in cross-cultural teams is a strong advantage
Fluent in English (Swedish or Chinese is a plus)
Why join Smart High Tech?
This is a rare opportunity to join a company at the exact moment where:
Technology moves from lab → industrial scale
Processes go from prototype → global standard
Quality becomes a competitive advantage
You will:
Work at the intersection of deep tech, manufacturing, and global scale
Be part of an international setup (Sweden & China)
Have real ownership and impact, not just responsibility
Contribute to technology that enables the future of AI, electronics, and sustainable performance
What success looks like in this role
Within 6–12 months, you have:
Established robust process control frameworks
Improved process capability and yield
Reduced scrap and variability
Contributed to successful customer qualification and SOP readiness
Ready to be part of the journey?
We are not just looking for experience.
We are looking for mindset, ownership, and drive.
